Appleton, Robert named Freshii Athletes of the Week
Cougars Men’s Curlers Ben Appleton and Evan Robert have been named Sault College’s Freshii Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 2nd, 2025.
Appleton, a second-year Aviation student from Desbarats, ON curled lead for the Cougars at the CCAA Nationals. Ben set the tone early in games and proved his prowess with the broom, earning a fourth-place finish. Way to go Ben!
Robert, a second-year General Arts student from Sault Ste. Marie, ON Skipped for the Cougars at the CCAA Nationals last week. Calling a controlled game, and keeping teammates calm, helping the Cougars to a fourth-place finish at nationals. Great work Evan!
