Bio
Scott was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, and played hockey up to U18, when he began to coach U13—all while still playing and attending high school. After winning a few championships as a player, he went on to coach many more in house league, AA, and AAA.
Scott’s career took him to Thunder Bay as a college-educated broadcaster in both radio and TV, where he worked with CTV and CBC affiliates—all while still coaching hockey at the A, AA, and AAA levels with the Current River Comets and the Neebing Hawks.
Currently in Dryden, Ontario, Scott loves to network, listen, watch, and share knowledge and connections any way he can. You can often find him watching hockey videos of prospects or other games on his phone while at a live game. Witty has been a key contributor for the success of the Cougars over the last two seasons, including back-to-back ACHA National Championships in Women's Division 2.
